How marriages happen in the sky

Like marriage, the marriage ceremony is a special moment that deserves special treatment.
But marriage in heaven is something very special.
In keeping with this conviction, we offer everything you need for a wedding or marriage ceremony in heaven.
With a wedding, everything will be simple – our pilot will be silent and will not reveal the secret, but will do his job carefully.
What’s more, we’ve discovered the best angle from which to capture the beautiful occasion of marriage on the Go Pro camera.
This season we have had more than 20 balloon shoots, and all of them have been “Yes”.
We’ve taken care of everything so that the young couple can focus solely on love – the price of the hot air balloon flight includes the ceremony photography.
The marriage ceremony is taken care of by the experienced freelance pastor Walter Coral.
We adjust the time and place of the balloon flight to the wishes of the young couple – we can fly over the romantic places that are special to you.
The balloon team and pilot Indulis Blūms can be proud of the pioneering honour – we were the first to propose marriage in the sky in a balloon basket, 400 metres above the Latvian ground!
The first balloon marriage took place in 2009.

Recalling that first occasion, Pastor Walter Coral expressed his feelings about the balloon marriage ceremony: “As a pastor, my first feelings when I boarded the basket were of a professional nature – was everything in place for the ceremony to go as planned?”
Having already experienced several flights with balloon pilot Indulis Blum, the pastor said that Indulis’s piloting was, as always, up to scratch and that the technical inspection of the balloon carried out a few days earlier had given an extra sense of security.
There is enough room in the balloon for everyone – the pastor, the young couple and the pilot.
Pastor Walter Coral is also a photographer and is able to capture the beautiful moments of the young couple.
The balloon can also be equipped with a camera on a tripod that will capture the beautiful moment in a high quality video.
More than ten years have passed since the first balloon wedding, and the balloon of pilot Indulis continues to delight young couples in heavenly marriage ceremonies and to lift others into the seventh heaven.
